Nukeproof have just released photos of their new body armour range! So far they have released a fully Leatt compatible pressure suit, knee pads, knee and shin pads, with elbow pads also on the way. Check out the photos and details below.

Nukeproof Body Armour 2012

Developed in conjunction with the ChainReactionCycles.com/Nukeproof downhill and 4X team our Leatt Brace-compatible jacket has been designed to perform at the highest level of gravity competition. We’ve used SaS-Tec protection foam on all impact areas for maximum energy absorption and impact protection, combined with a removable back protector plate. The SaS-Tec foam adapts ergonomically to your body, absorbs 50% more impact energy and is 60% lighter than traditional hard-shell protectors. The breathable, wicking base layer has sublimated Nuke Proof graphics and has vented areas to keep you cool when the going gets rough. Adjustable Velcro strap closures and an ergonomic design makes this one of the most comfortable jackets on the market. Available in the one colour only and four sizes from small to extra large.

These hard plastic knee pads have been developed in conjunction with the ChainReactionCycles.com/Nukeproof downhill and 4X team. We’ve built the pads to withstand the most brutal of crashes and added comfort-enhancing features like silicon grip strips at the top and bottom combined with Velcro straps to ensure a secure fit. A Kevlar outer covering should ensure a long life for these knee protectors. Available in black with yellow or white logos and sizes small to x large.
